Syracuse native Jessimae Peluso hosts Tattoo Redo, an all-new reality series featuring people with embarrassing body ink from a drunken night out, a lost bet, a relationship gone wrong, or a poorly researched internet source. Yes, they could go through the painful process of removing them, but Peluso offers a simpler solution.
Behind every tragic tattoo, theres always a ridiculous story, Peluso says in the trailer. Lucky for them, five of the most talented tattoo artists are standing by to give them a tattoo redo.
The show brings in several pairs of people featuring one with a bad tattoo and their loved one who cant stand looking it. Tattoo artists Miryam Lumpini, Twig Sparks, Tommy Montoya, Matt Beckerich and Rose Hardy will attempt to get creative with a coverup or modification of the original art, but heres the fun twist the person bringing in someone with the botched ink gets to choose the new design.
This might be a disaster, Peluso admits.
