Whats The Tattooing Process Like

• The tattoo artist first washes his/her hands properly and wears fresh gloves.
• He/she washes the part of your body where the tattooing would be done, with soap and water.
• The artist draws the tattoo design on the skin of the body part with the help of a stencil.
• He/she again clean the area with antiseptic and applies petroleum jelly.
• The artist draws the outline of the tattoo with the sterilized/single-use needles of a tattoo machine.
• He/she cleans any blood/body fluid with a sterilized gauze/tissue.
• Once the tattooing is completed, the artist cleans that area again and covers it with a bandage.

• Make sure to keep the bandage on for at least 24 hours or as recommended.
• Once you have opened the bandage, expose the tattooed area to open-air
• Wash the area with soap and lukewarm water. Pat the area gently with a soft towel, donât rub it vigorously.
• For the next week, apply antibiotic ointment or Vitamin E oil to the tattooed area 2-3 times a day.
• Until the tattooed area heals completely, donât go for swims and donât expose it to strong sunlight. Use a sunscreen with SPF 30 for the next two weeks before going out in the sun.
