What Is The Tattoo Bet

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley TATTOO BET

Jake Paul, however, reminded Tyron Woodley of their tattoo bet which they made before their fight. According to the bet between Jake and Tyron, the loser of the fight gets a tattoo that says I Love *winners name*. In this case, Tyron Woodley is supposed to get an I Love Jake Paul tattoo.

Jake Paul said that if Tyron gets himself tattooed and honors the bet, he will do a rematch and fight Tyron Woodley again.

If you get the tattoo I Love Jake Paul, lets run it back, said Jake.

Tyron Woodley announced lets go, bet in the center of the ring at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse stadium, meaning he would get himself an I Love Jake Paul tattoo for the rematch. Have a look below:

Before their fight in August, they bet the loser would have to get the winner’s name tattooed on them.

But after Woodley, 39, lost by split-decision, Paul, 24, said in the ring he would rematch if the wager was lived up to.

It took the former MMA star almost a full month to get the tattoo, by which time Paul was already set to fight Tommy Fury, 22.

But Fury was forced to withdraw on less than two week’s notice after suffering a broken rib and chest infection while training.

In Paul’s first three fights, he beat YouTuber ‘AnEsonGib’, ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, also 37.

But Fury would have been the YouTuber’s first opponent with prior professional experience.

Will Tyron Woodley Really Get A Tattoo

But wait for a second.. it isnt as straightforward as it seems. During the post-fight conference when Tyron Woodley was asked where would he be getting the tattoo, he said he hasnt decided it yet and it would probably be on his thigh.

Tyron Woodley also said that he would need the rematch contract against Jake Paul before getting the tattoo.

But later on, when the former UFC champ sat down for an interview at MMA Hour, he was asked the same tattoo question. This time Tyron Woodley hinted towards something fishy.

Presenter Ariel asked whether there was a possibility that Tyron would get himself tattoed and then remove it later on.

To this, Tyron immediately shooed the presenter while smiling and ignoring his question. Tyron subtly managed to ask Ariel to move to the next question. Ariel Helwani said okay.. sorry sorry and the two immediately changed the topic. Watch the clip from MMA Hour below:

While Tyron Woodley might have some fishy plans in mind, let us wait to see if he gets bound by the rematch contract to get a permanent tattoo instead.

What do you think? Is it fair for Tyron to get a tattoo and then remove it later on? Tell us your thoughts in the comments

And no, while the mockups are in green and blue, they’ll probably end up being done using black ink.

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley tattoo bet: Designs revealed with loser set ...

Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley previously raised the stakes of the highly anticipated crossover showdown by verbally agreeing to a tattoo bet.

Paul initially challenged Woodley to a winner-take-all bet that would allow the winner to take home the combined purse of the main event bout. However, the former UFC welterweight didn’t entertain the idea, which led Paul to come up with a different type of wager.

‘The Problem Child’ put forth the idea of a bet that would see the loser of the fight get a new piece of skin art. Essentially, the loser would get an ‘I love Jake Paul’ or ‘I love Tyron Woodley’ tattoo. After mulling over the idea for a few seconds, Tyron Woodley agreed to take the bet and shook his opponent’s hand to seal the deal.

In an interview with Haney on the 3 Things to Know podcast, Jake Paul discussed the terms of the bet:

I have a tattoo artist, Tatu Baby, whos one of the biggest tattoo artists in the world. Shes actually coming down to the fight. Shes going to be ringside for the fight. And after Tyron loses, Im sending her into his locker room to make him get the tattoo.”

Katherine Flores, more popularly known as ‘Tatu Baby,’ is Jake Paul’s tattoo artist of choice. She attended the Jake Paul-Tyron Woodley event in person and watched ringside as she awaited the result of the bout.

Jake Paul reacted to the scene and mocked Tyron Woodley. He expressed himself on Twitter, citing Woodleys urgency towards bagging another hefty paycheck. That said, Paul didnt clarify whether the rematch is a done deal.

Despite a verbal agreement, there are no official contracts signed yet. So, the rematch is still unofficial and Jake Paul can explore several options. 4-0 as a professional, The Problem Child is also rumored to compete against TNT Tommy Fury, somewhere down the line. Thus, theres a lot in store for Jake Paul.

Nevertheless, re-matching Tyron Woodley can still be the best decision from the lot. Having faced the UFC elite in-ring, Paul is aware of the challenge that T-Wood can bring. Moreover, as he couldnt claim a KO in the first fight, a second collision can help him repair things.

Tyron Woodley Pays Up Gets ‘i Love Jake Paul’ Tattoo On Middle Finger

Tyron Woodley got an “I love Jake Paul” tattoo on his left middle finger, as part of the wager he and Paul agreed to before and after their boxing match last month. Woodley posted a photo of the tattoo on his Instagram on Monday.

“I love you son,” Woodley wrote. “Now come and get this a– whippin cause i heard you been talking back to your elders.”

Paul told ESPN two weeks ago that Woodley had eliminated himself from the running to be Paul’s next opponent because he did not get the tattoo. Woodley was angling for a rematch, and in the aftermath of their Aug. 29 fight — won by Paul via split decision — Paul said he’d grant the rematch if Woodley got the tattoo. Woodley agreed and they shook hands on it.

Woodley getting the tattoo now puts him back in play for the rematch, Woodley’s manager Malki Kawa of First Round Management told ESPN.

The tattoo bet first came up at a news conference in July. Both men agreed verbally that the loser would get a tattoo somewhere on their body reading that they love the winner. Paul even brought a tattoo artist to the fight in order to get some ink done immediately after they both left the ring.

But after the bout Paul’s team said they would only consider doing the rematch if Woodley got the tattoo. Woodley’s team wanted something more firm that that, so it did not happen immediately.

  • Breaking News

Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley II will NOT happen — at least not in the foreseeable future … ’cause Paul just said a rematch is off … after Woodley wouldn’t get an “I love Jake” tattoo.

The Problem Child broke it all down on the “Full Send Podcast” this week … explaining he’s not going to fight Woodley a second time after Tyron refused to honor their initial ink bet.

“The tattoo was the bet before this fight,” Paul said. “It was the loser had to get the tattoo. So, now, all the sudden he’s trying to change it to make it for the rematch?”

” doesn’t make sense,” Paul continued. “If he would’ve gotten the tattoo, like, now, and that clip goes viral, and everyone’s like, ‘Jake, do it! Do it!’ I’d be like, ‘I kind of have to do this.’ But he f***ed up.”

Paul added, “He’s saying, ‘Oh, I’ll get it once we sign the contract.’ No. You f***ed up. Just get the tattoo and let me decide from there.”

If you missed it … Paul and Woodley initially agreed that the loser of their Aug. 29 fight would have to get a tat of the winner somewhere on their bodies.

In fact, the two even flew in famed artist Tatu Baby to draw the ink on the guys directly after the fight.

But, Woodley has yet to go under the needle — and it’s now clear because of that, Paul has his sights set on a different opponent for his next bout.

As for who that might be, Jake said Tyson Fury‘s little bro, Tommy Fury, is “at the top” of his list.

So, let’s get it on, gents!

Jake Paul Shoots Down Rematch Vs Tyron Woodley Despite Mma Legend Getting Tattoo

Jake Paul is altering the deal.

Following their encounter in August, Paul and Tyron Woodley reached a handshake agreement that they’d have a rematch if Woodley got an “I love Jake Paul” tattoo. Woodley held up his end of the bargain, but Paul apparently isn’t doing the same.

“I don’t think people really wanna see Tyron vs Jake Paul again,” the 24-year-old said to TMZ Sports. “He had his chance.”

Paul’s comments hit on the truth of the matter.

While he’s a former UFC welterweight champion, Woodley isn’t a fighter with a ton of crossover appeal

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter , Paul vs. Woodley garnered around 500,000 pay-per-view buys. By comparison, Paul’s first-round knockout of Ben Askren in April passed the 1 million mark.

The Ohio native is scheduled to fight Tommy Fury on Dec. 18. Looking beyond that event, opposing Woodley again probably isn’t the most lucrative option on the table.
